Rules for using the One Renta marketplace.
1. Introduction
Welcome to One Renta. By creating an account or using our platform, you agree to these Terms & Conditions. Please read them carefully before renting or listing any item.
2. Eligibility
One Renta is available to anyone who can comply with these Terms & Conditions and provide accurate account information.
3. Your Account
You are responsible for keeping your account information accurate and secure, and for all activity carried out through your account.
4. Listings
Lenders are responsible for ensuring that listings are accurate, photos reflect the item’s current condition, rental prices and Held Value are correct, and items are available when accepted for booking.
5. Renting an Item
Renters should use rented items with reasonable care, return items on or before the agreed return date, and follow any care instructions provided by the lender.
6. Payments
Rental fees and any applicable service fees must be paid through One Renta. Payments made outside the platform are not protected.
7. Held Value
Each listing includes a Held Value chosen by the lender. This is not a purchase price but the maximum amount that may be charged if an item is lost, stolen, or damaged beyond repair.
8. Delivery & Returns
The lender and renter are responsible for following the agreed delivery or collection method. Items should be returned in the same condition they were received, allowing for normal wear from appropriate use.
9. Damage or Loss
If an item is returned damaged, lost, or not returned, One Renta may investigate the matter and take appropriate action in line with our policies.
10. Cancellations & Refunds
Cancellation and refund decisions will be made in accordance with One Renta’s Refund Policy. Users should review this policy before making or accepting a booking.
11. Prohibited Activities
Users must not provide false information, bypass the platform with off-app payments, use the platform for unlawful or fraudulent activities, or harass, threaten, or abuse other users.
12. Account Suspension
One Renta may suspend or permanently remove accounts that violate these Terms or engage in fraudulent or harmful behaviour.
13. Liability
One Renta provides the platform for users to rent and lend items. While we aim to support a safe marketplace, we are not responsible for disputes, losses, or damages arising from transactions between users, except where required by law.
14. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of One Renta after changes are published means you accept the updated Terms.
